The St. Ann’s Allotments in Nottingham is a Grade II* listed Historic Park Site on the English Heritage Register and believed to be the largest allotment site in Europe. It was founded in the early C19th.
The site received a major grant award from the Heritage Lottery Fund to consolidate, restore and protect the site.
As part of this grant project Peter Rogan assisted in the training of volunteers to record historic structures on the site and oversaw the restoration of key structures on the allotments including the Grade II listed wooden summerhouse and the derelict wooden greenhouse on “Oliver’s Plot”, now established as a show plot for Victorian themed displays.
