The current church of St. Peter, Edensor, was designed by St. George Gilbert Scott for the Duke of Devonshire. Despite it’s magnificence, the relatively small windows of the church mean that artificial lighting is important in this well-visited building.The existing lights did not provide flexiblity or enhance the church interior. New lighting, designed with Benedict Cadbury, now provides much more uplifting and positive character.
